GBR XI Schedule of Events

With the Rendezvous just a couple days away, we had a few questions about the schedule so thought we'd post it here on the blog. You'll notice there are no changes at this point from the initial itinerary that was included in your GBR welcome packet that you hopefully received via mail.

Thursday, September 8:

2-5 p.m. – Emergency Range Procedures Course

Location: Reno Guns & Range

Cost: No cost to attendees – sponsored by Lucky Gunner

A course designed to teach the basics of how to respond if there is a medical emergency at the range. Tourniquet use and other tips are expected.

6 p.m.: Welcome dinner for those in Reno.

Location: Meet at the Silver Baron boardroom on the Mezzanine level of the Silver Legacy. From there, we will proceed to the El Dorado buffet.

Cost: Attendees responsible for cost of their meal

Friday, September 9:

8 a.m. – 9 a.m. – Buffet style breakfast (eggs, French toast, coffee, etc.)

Location: Silver Legacy Resort & Casino Silver Baron Ballroom

Cost: Free; Sponsored by Lucky Gunner

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Open Range Day

Location: Washoe County Shooting Facility

Cost: Adults - $8/day

5 p.m. – 6 p.m. Show & Tell

Location: Silver Legacy – Silver Baron Ballroom

Cost: Free

6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Dinner (Southwest fajita buffet)

Location: Silver Baron Ballroom

Cost: Free for attendees; Sponsored by Lucky Gunner

8 p.m. – 12 a.m. - Socialization, refreshments, etc. at the Silver Legacy (light refreshments will be provided).

Saturday, September 10:

8 a.m. – 9 a.m. – Buffet style breakfast (eggs, French toast, coffee, etc.)

Location: Silver Legacy Resort & Casino - Silver Baron Ballroom

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Steel Shooting Competition at the Range

Location: Western Nevada Pistol League Range

Cost: TBD

5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Door Prize Drawing / Socializing

Location: Silver Legacy – Silver Baron Ballroom

Cost: None

6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. – Dinner at the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino

Location: Silver Legacy – Silver Baron Ballroom

7 p.m. –7:15 p.m. – Brief introduction to Honored American Veterans Afield

7:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. – Raffle benefitting HAVA & drawings for door prizes

Sunday, September 11:
